For many years, Vietnam Women's Museum lies in top attractive destinations in Hanoi and Asia. In 2014, TripAdvisor - the world's largest travel website voted Vietnamese Women's Museum as the most attractive museum in Hanoi.
Vietnam Women's Museum is located at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. Opening time from Monday to Sunday, and from 8 a.m to 5p.m.
The whole museum consists of 4 floors with an area of 1,500 square meters of display space with 971 documents, artifacts and 21 documentaries. Here, visitors will have a opportunity to learn, explore images of women in all aspects of life such as: Women in the family, women in history and women's fashion.
Contents of women in families with artifacts, photos and videos screened on marriage, childbearing and family life of Vietnamese women throughout regions in every period.
An exhibition about women in history is focused on introducing the role and participation of women in the war of resistance against nation's invasion, but also refers to multi-faceted life often of women in war.
The most interesting is that Dress at the 4th floor exhibit area and the introduction of diverse information about fashion and art motifs present on unique outfits with the technical characteristics of each region.
Art beauty of ethnic women through using of jewelry, makeup; eat betel stained teeth and keep well clear portrayed through the collection brooch, necklace, earrings, bracelet, bar area, ... contributing to diversity in women's fashion throughout Vietnam.
